Dr. Aparna Prasad

Dr. Aparna Prasad finishing her M.B.B.S, completed her DNB in Paediatrics from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi, and then did IAP fellowship in Neonatology from Jaipur Golden Hospital, New Delhi. She oversees the operations of a busy level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at BLK-MAX SSH and excels in assisting preterm or high-risk deliveries and providing immediate medical attention to new-borns. Additionally, she has extensive experience in neonatal mechanical ventilation, including both conventional methods and High-Frequency Ventilation (HFOV). She also offers follow-up care and provides counselling to families, ensuring their understanding of the patient's condition and recommendations for care.  She actively engages in academic activities, including publishing research papers, presenting at conferences, and mentoring NICU fellows.  She is a life member of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics (IAP) and the National Neonatology Forum (NNF) and is a member of the Neonatology Chapter within IAP. She holds certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
